Lisa the Mother and Wife
Lovingly called “Madre” by her eldest, Lisa is mom of two children; an adult daughter Lindsey and son Evan. Both children have their own relationships with Jesus for which she is grateful. Lindsey is a fierce dancer with a passion for young people while Evan is following in the Alexander family tradition of fine musicianship by playing the drums.

Lisa married her childhood sweetheart, Elgin Alexander and the two have been happily married for over 20 years.

Lisa the Minister
Lisa is a preacher's kid who grew up in the church. She has served as church administrator, choir director and teacher throughout her years of service. In 2005, Lisa and her husband Elgin  planted the Zion Tabernacle Christian Church in Houston, Texas where they served for six years.

Lisa is a dynamic preacher and teacher who loves to laugh and who at her very core is a worshipper. She is known as a giving and animated person! Her passion is to see the Body of Christ function as intended and for believers – especially young people – live out their calling.

Lisa is also author of the book Marriage and Ministry and has written articles for magazines and online ministries. Her teachings for leaders can be found on her blog site, www.lisanalexander, under Wisdom for Leaders. These apostolic teachings give an honest look of life in ministry and challenges many falsehoods confronting the Church today.
